How to Reel in Top Media Coverage for Your Business

Not all advertising is created equal. Just like the bait at the end of a fishing rod, the way you obtain media coverage for your business depends on how you toss your line. Billboards, sponsorships, commercials and radio spots are all forms of paid advertising. But what about the type of media coverage that doesn’t cost you a penny to secure a spot? The art of getting the attention of a reporter or editor so that your business is included in an upcoming article or segment is one of the most effective and powerful forms of advertising. At CMA, our tactic is to think like a reporter by hiring reporters to achieve these placements for our clients. What do news outlets want to hear? What are they writing about? What will stand out above the other pitches? Click to learn how to gain free media coverage.
