CMA Brand Ambassador Joins Nonprofit Board
Jude Martin-Cianfano Volunteers Expertise at Hopewell Valley YMCA
PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.–May 19, 2017– Creative Marketing Alliance, a full-service, award-winning, strategic marketing and integrated communications firm, announced today that its Brand Ambassador Jude Martin-Cianfano has been appointed to the Hopewell Valley YMCA’s board of directors.
“Jude’s passionate commitment to community is inspirational to all of us,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, president and CEO of CMA, who was recently recognized with Rider University’s Leadership Legacy Award and MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Outstanding Small Business of the Year award. “She is always looking for ways to get involved with service and, as we celebrate CMA’s 30th year, we are excited to give back to the community that has made us so successful.”
Martin-Cianfano has been a brand ambassador with CMA for more than two years. Prior to joining CMA, she was an event manager and new business development specialist at the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce.
“It’s important to me to support the local community I live in and lead by example for my children,” said Martin-Cianfano, who also serves on the YMCA’s gala committee. “The YMCA brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, many children, adults and families are receiving the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve greater health and well-being for their sport, mind and body.”
CMA has a long history of community service, including support of the Special Olympics of New Jersey’s Law Enforcement Torch Run program, collecting food for HomeFront and participating in the Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey Race for the Cure.
Community service starts at the top with Barnhart, who previously served on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and a two-term president of the Central Jersey Regional Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. He is a past recipient of the Richard Mack Communication Excellence Award from the National American Red Cross and was recognized with an Outstanding Service Award and Outstanding Achievement in Fundraising Award from the American Diabetes Association. He also serves on Rider University’s Strategic Planning Committee.
“Our YMCA has been blessed to have Jude’s marketing, communications and event management skills as a committee volunteer over the past few years,” said Doug Pszczolkowski, Hopewell Valley YMCA CEO. “Our board development committee was very impressed by her experience and contributions and we are all thrilled to work with her as a new member of the board of directors.”
